When the story opens, Kelly is a child, as her mother scolds and spanks her. It is clear that she had suffered some trauma and abuse in her youth. Kelly hides a huge knife underneath her bed.

Flash-forward to present day and Kelly is looking at a new apartment in San Francisco. She walks along the colorful and energetic streets of exotic Chinatown on a sunny day.

Once inside, she meets and greets her friendly but odd landlady, and there is something about the place that spooks the viewer as do the neighbors. It is revealed that Kelly (20’s) is a psychiatrist.

Kelly gets a new patient, EVE, and this event leads to much tension, danger and mystery as Eve seems to think “they” are after her, and evil cult, and soon, Kelly begins to believe “they” are after her as well.

But there is no where to hide when one cannot distinguish between reality and delusion, and what has taken over Kelly and Eve’s lives proves a formidable force that produces tragic consequences.
